History: here

Personality:
RESILIENT — Wanda's most defining quality comes in the form of her resilience, evident in the consistent ways that she's managed to overcome some of the most toughest experiences throughout her life that would otherwise shake her confidence and willpower. From an early age of losing her parents to a bomb that destroyed her home, to watching her home of Sokovia crumble from Ultron's plans, to losing her brother to Ultron, to eventually having to watch Vision be sacrificed a number of times, before even giving up her children crafted from her own magic, Wanda has come to know loss to an incredible extent. Despite it, and the emotional turmoil that comes with it, she manages to push herself forward each time, whether in choosing to fight alongside the Avengers to make a change or to better understand her own powers in order to improve her situation.

NURTURING — While Wanda's life is so often overcome with loss, it doesn't prevent Wanda from experiencing great examples of love and care which in turn amplify her instincts to be quite nurturing. Though raised in a poor household in the midst of a terrorizing war, her parents and her brother brought joy and laughter into their small home, bathing one another in hugs and kisses. After the loss of their parents, she and Pietro would still often hold hands, looking after one another with an ever-present familial connection. Upon creating her family in Westview, Wanda easily put herself in the role of a mother, having an instinctive protective nature in defending her children and assuring them of the love she has for them, even fighting exterior forces to keep them safe.

IMPROVISATIONAL — Even with her initially limited experiences in fighting, Wanda has shown to be quite capable of improvising well under pressure. Out on the field, she performs quickly with her magic, from long-range to short-range battle, finding ways to use it both offensively and defensively, even without having had anyone train her properly on its use. In fighting against Agatha in her first real battle against other magic, she swiftly uses the simple lesson she'd only just learned about casting runes to turn the battle towards her favor. Even outside of a fight, Wanda finds silly solutions through the sitcom performances in Westview, such as quickly fixing Vision's mistakes in the magic show or swiftly using spells to find creative ways to hide her pregnancy from Monica.

CULPABLE — Quite often, Wanda will find ways to place blame upon herself, and while at times, this could be considered admirable in taking responsibility for her actions, it often tends to have more of a negative effect. When Ultron begins to destroy Sokovia, she breaks down, shaken in tears, feeling responsible for having contributed to Ultron's efforts to start. At the battle's end, with her brother dead and her country nearly destroyed, she's shaken enough that she was willing to let herself die for the losses she had caused, albeit indirectly. Wanda constantly tends to put a highlight on her faults, and when most of the world goes against her during the signing of the Sokovia Accords, she accepts the blame for constantly messing things up, momentarily denying Clint's rescue because she thinks she deserves the imprisonment.

DEPENDENT — Wanda has shown that she very consistently needs the presence of others, often in a way where loneliness seems to shatter her or steer her in the wrong direction. When she'd lost her parents, she'd been able to hold herself together because she still had her brother at her side. But when he dies after the battle on Sokovia, she secludes herself to mourning in her room, telling Vision that nothing would make her feel better except for seeing him again. It's only in having Vision at her side that she's able to eventually recover, but when she experiences his loss too, left by herself, it's in her lonely agony that she creates the reality-warped hex around Westview, creating a false family of her own in order to cope with her depression and loneliness, later noting the "empty endless nothingness" she felt from everything she's lost.

IMPULSIVE — Though she begins to learn more about strategic fighting and teamwork when working with the Avengers, Wanda's instincts still tend to be dependent on reacting quick on emotion, rather than laying out a plan and considering her actions. She tends to be fueled on her feelings, which strengthens her powers and can sometimes be a benefit, but this also adds an unpredictable nature that makes her a danger to those around her. She's often guided by her frustration and anger, nearly taking apart the S.W.O.R.D. facility once she sees Vision being treated as a weapon of warfare, and when she lets her emotions get the best of her in spontaneously creating her hex world, she traps the Westview residents in with her, endangering their lives with her overwhelming emotional pain.

Powers/Abilities: The aspect of Wanda's powers could be quite complex, due to the fact that her powers were originally thought to be produced by her contact with the Mind Stone in Loki's scepter (as of 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron). Though the Mind Stone did awaken certain abilities later revealed to be innate inside Wanda rather than granted by the stone, Wanda's powers are further expanded after her grief over the loss of Vision urges her to subconsciously awaken deeper abilities (as of 2021's Wandavision). These powers will be separated in two sections below, along with suggestions of nerfs that would limit the grand scale of her powers.
MIND STONE ABILITIES (these are powers that Wanda has had access to since her first appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and which she has the most training and control over)

TELEKINESIS — Wanda can mentally move and manipulate objects, doing so with her thoughts and careful movement of her hands. With this, she can also control molecules, pushing them together or apart, which in turn allows her to manipulate shapes or destroy them. In addition making objects float, she is also able to make herself and others levitate.

Nerfs: The biggest limitation for telekinesis would be the size of objects, where the larger things are, the more strain it requires to move.

TELEPATHY — Wanda can mentally read the thoughts and memories of others, and in doing this, she can sense their emotions and feelings as well.

Nerfs: OOCly, this would require players to fill out a permissions form. ICly, there would also be a limitation as to how much Wanda can sense, where she can perhaps only pick up on surface thoughts and emotions. Anything further would require either more physical strain from Wanda or conscious consent from the character to open up further for her to explore.

MENTAL MANIPULATION — Wanda is able to form illusions and warp visual realities to put others in a hypnotic state. She can force them to see dreamlike visions that are often times a distorted product of their memories and emotions. She is also capable of minor cases of mind control to make people move and think as she wishes.

Nerfs: The aspect of full mind control would be nerfed completely, but Wanda would still be able to present visual illusions. The larger the illusion, the less detailed and more distorted it becomes, so she wouldn't be able to achieve anything on too large of a scale.

PSIONIC ENERGY — Wanda's most offensive approach in battles is the ability to create physical waves and bolts of energy in the form of red flickers of light that have destructive and forceful capabilities. She has used this to push away enemies and cause explosions, the latter of which has been capable of destroying vibranium-armored robots. When her emotions are most heightened, such as when she was grieving the death of her brother, the destructive power of her blasts can become even stronger. She can also use this ability to create defensive force fields.

Nerfs: This would be a matter of size. Larger blasts would be more difficult to conjure, though more achievable through heightened emotion. It may also become more straining overall; the larger the blasts and the longer she goes at it, the more it depletes her energy.

CHAOS MAGIC (these are powers that Wanda gained access to after succumbing to her grief in losing Vision in Wandavision but which she has little to no training on, therefore even she doesn't fully comprehend her capabilities)

ASTRAL PROJECTION — Wanda can summon an astral form of herself outside of her physical body and can do so while remaining conscious or unconscious.

Nerfs: The astral projection can only be summoned for a limited span of time and cannot venture far from her physical body.

TELEPORTATION — Wanda is able to teleport herself and others from one location to another, typically leaving behind a wisp of red smoke.

Nerfs: The distance of teleportation has been shown to be very limited and typically no more than about twenty feet. She can also only teleport one person at a time.

TRANSMUTATION — Wanda is able to manipulate the matter in objects to make it change its appearance, structure, and size, such as transforming her clothes into different styles (i.e. changing her regular clothing into her Scarlet Witch costume), transforming a real piano into a mere cardboard cutout, and taking two single twin beds and combining it into one queen-size.

Nerfs: While she has been able to transform things on a large scale (see the fully-nerfed Reality Warping below), Wanda wouldn't be able to do this with anything bigger than furniture and she would be limited to the extent that she could actually transform something (i.e. changing the style and appearance but not being able to change anything into a completely different object).

WEATHER MANIPULATION — Wanda has minor control over weather patterns, such as being able to summon up rains, winds, or thunderclouds.

Nerfs: Control over this would be very limited in its size and could only be achieved if there is access to actual nature and clouds (i.e. she can't suddenly make it storm on the station).

FULLY NERFED ABILITIES (these are powers that would be considered too powerful and, therefore, Wanda wouldn't have access to at all in game)

CONJURATION/LIFE CREATION — Even beyond transmutation, Wanda has shown that she is able to create objects from nothing, such as creating wedding rings and dog collars. She's even been able to create living matter such as a false form of Vision and two children.

POWER BESTOWAL — Wanda had been able to grant separate powers to her children, infusing them with power over super-speed and psionic control respectively. It's also believed that she was the one to grant her brother his super-speed as well.

TIME MANIPULATION — Wanda has been shown to be able to control the passage of time, such as switching rapidly between day and night, along with freezing time for everyone but herself.

REALITY WARPING — Within a contained space, Wanda can completely warp reality, such as how she was able to form a secluded hex-trapped sphere around the town of Westview to change its complete appearance, shifting it through different eras of sitcoms through the decades. Within this sphere, anything within it is automatically transformed in its matter to match what Wanda wills it to be.

Regret: Wanda's regret is to undo the psychological trauma experienced by the Westview residents when she unintentionally trapped them in her illusion of a sitcom-inspired world and caused them to feel the pain of her nightmares.

Suitability: Wanda certainly has the background for what would constitute as working together with a team to achieve a desired goal. After all, as a member of the Avengers, she's worked together alongside some of the best leaders, learning helpful skills such how to incorporate compassion in making tough decisions from Steve Rogers or how to use stealth and subtlety to move about more easily without being noticed from Natasha Romanoff. She'd eventually become something of a veteran of the team, even if she never quite reaches levels of top leadership, working alongside dozens of other heroes to save the entire world from half-populated devastation.

But even before her time as an Avenger, before her powers had even awakened, she'd rebelled alongside her brother to fight against the wars and tragedies that took place in her country, eventually even volunteering herself for a risky procedure, all for the sake of wanting to become stronger to do something about it. Wanda has always been one who knows what it means to fight for something she deems important and to undergo any trial and obstacle to achieve it, assuring that whatever risks come during her time on the Ximilia, she'll go the extra mile to get there.

And, of course, there's her power in and of itself. While being something of a liability considering her shaky past, there's no question that Wanda's magic is impossibly strong with nearly limitless possibilities. Even under nerfed circumstances, its usefulness would know no bounds, capable of saving those in a pinch or putting up a fight against a formidable enemy.

[ exploration of the station takes little time and interest, her attention as captivated with the tour as she is with her own chipped dark nail polish, her thumb scrapping off another chunk of dried black from her opposite index. the naming of the rooms, the talk of places to train, of common living spaces, of assigned rooms, it all gives her an unsettling case of deja vu (she dreads deja vu; often times, the feeling of it is right, and usually, the original memory isn't a good one). of course she knows the routine, having done all of this before with the compound designated to the avengers. ]

Do these double as jail cells? [ wanda jokes, without any sense of humor in her voice, save for the subtle quirk of an empty smile. her tour guide looks at her with a confused expression. unsurprisingly so, since tony stark didn't try to imprison them in their bedroom just for existing.

she doesn't judge them for not laughing, since she doesn't want to laugh either. but she gives a polite smile and shakes her head as permission for them to move on.

as they turn the corner into the next set of residential rooms, she nearly stumbles, something rectangular moving swiftly beneath her feet. its blinking lights seem to suggest something mimicking eyes, the plastic material at its sides being something like arms, its beeps calling out like a voice.

wanda crouches down, bending at the knees to level herself out better with the miniature robot. ]

Hi. [ she greets it, lips tilting into a smile as if it could possibly see it. she fully believes that it does. after all, life doesn't merely exist in blood and tissue, sometimes found in wires and programming — at least when mixed with the right ingredients. she can't say for certain that that kind of life exists in this tiny creation, but with its seemingly blinking eyes behind a glass screen, she thinks that it could. ] Do you have a name?

[ the unrecognizable beeps that echo from its small body don't translate to any kind of answer, but the voice of her tour guide a few steps behind her fills it in, explaining to her that it's only ever simply been referred to as the "nannybot".

wanda frowns a little at that, turning back to the little robot, with an assuring look. ]
We'll find one for you.

[ in the midst of what could easily become nothing more than another cold holding place for her, even as a volunteer, she thinks that maybe she could have a few tasks to take on, even something as simple as finding a proper name for the tiny thing that cleans the station's floors.

eventually, she's led in front of the simulation room, explained to be a place that could create worlds and places to step into as if they were real. "do you want to try it out?" they ask. ]

No. [ she's quick to answer, arms folding around herself, fingers holding onto her elbows, as her eyes look onto the door. her voice proves too stern to be considered polite, as firm as if they had been ready to drag her in there themselves.

she doesn't owe anyone an explanation, she knows that. but the last time she'd been somewhere she intended to do no harm, everyone had eventually turned against her. it might be a better plan to avoid that as much as possible this time around, at least for the sake of this new mission. ]

Sometimes, things are better left to memory ... and reality. [ a vague answer, she realizes. she curves the extra length of her sweater's sleeves inward against her palms, thumbs within the fabric rubbing thoughtlessly at the threads like she might push straight through. her eyes still focus on the room's door, like it might suddenly open up against her will. ] We don't always know the consequences of creating things that don't exist. I'd just rather not take a chance. [ her words get caught for a moment, before she adds, as if necessary, ] This time.

[ even in her own mind now, she's already recreating a world right there in her head, imagining the empty foundation of a suburban house left unbuilt, nothing but lone concrete and dead grass. ]

Thanks for the tour. [ she says a bit more loudly, not even sure if the tour is actually over but hasty to move on. ] Hopefully, we'll ... work together in the future.

[ she realizes the sort of empty politeness in the words, like something memorized for the sake of being said, practiced speech to seem accommodating and capable of working with others. it's a steve kind of line, she thinks, reminded just how much he'd be far better at this than she ever could.

but it's about trying, wanda assures herself, clinging on to the frail remnant of hope she still manages to carry within herself, the very same that tells her she survive through this, that she could fix her regret, and that for once, things won't fall apart by her own fault. ]
