WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S STRENGTHS?:
Wanda is very often well capable of handling herself despite the many obstacles she comes to face. Upon losing her parents, losing her brother, losing her home, she still finds the strength in her to continue moving forward despite the weight of her loses. She can be inexperienced and yet she has a talented ability of learning rather quickly. Despite having her powers for only a limited number of years and still struggling in certain areas, she has managed to find a higher level of control with her abilities. Her age is no measurement of her skill in keeping up with others that would be her superior in age and experience. Her determination and fight are some of her greatest features, accepting any challenges that come to her, be it her own country's government, an army of robots, or the powerful fear that everyone feels towards her.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S WEAKNESSES?:
As a young orphan, Wanda grew to form an immensely close bond with her brother, Pietro. However, due to this, the twins often kept to themselves and struggled to trust others due to the corruption of their own government and the enemies whose weapons would destroy all that they had. Upon losing Pietro, it became more evident to see Wanda's suppression of her own feelings, which often left her quiet and closed up even in the most distraught at times. During these moments of inner struggle, it typically took the approach of someone else to pull her out of her shell, from Steve Rogers trying to comfort her after the accident in Lagos or Clint Barton reminding her to keep fighting during her house arrest in the Avengers facility. While she will always find a way out of it, Wanda can still be overwhelmed with her own fears, not always having full comprehension of her powers, afraid that she might somehow hurt others for her lack of control. Trust is also a difficulty for Wanda, not having trusted most besides her own brother for most of her life. Once she grew to trust the other Avengers after a year of training with them, her trust was betrayed when Tony turned their back on all of them and had them arrested. Because of this, shutting herself away from others continues to be a struggle.

WHAT EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUR CHARACTER'S PAST HAVE IMPACTED THEM THE MOST?:
To start, Wanda's parents were killed, when she was a mere ten years old, in an explosion caused by one of Tony Stark's bombs. This forced her and her brother to fend for themselves, teaching them the ways of survival on the streets without the extreme dependency of anyone but each other. This turned them into activists, rebelling and joining protests for better change in their country, eventually leading them to join List's experiments which eventually granted them their powers. It was these chain of events that turned Wanda into a fighter, pushing herself to make things better for the world she cares for and the people she cares for. Eventually this would give her the proper workings to be an Avenger.

Because he was the most important person in her life, losing Pietro formed a broken darkness in Wanda. As twins closely bonded by blood, along with her powers that essentially let her intertwine their minds all the more closer, she instantly felt the moment of Pietro's death despite not being at the scene. The ache of that moment left her in a piercing scream, her powers shooting madly at her surroundings and destroying a stampede of Ultron's robots in an instant. This instant moment not only let Wanda dive into a deeper part of herself that strengthened the capabilities of her powers, but it left her feeling shattered, telling Ultron that she had died and compared the feeling to the crushing of his inner heart-like core. If not for being saved by Vision, Wanda would have truly allowed herself to die along with her brother and the destruction of her home country.

The freshest memory that worked to shape Wanda happened during a mission in Lagos in which they'd hoped to catch Crossbones. Upon his attempt to detonating a bomb on himself to blow up Steve and the city, Wanda had attempted to contain the blast with the use of her powers. However, the forceful bursts eventually bypassed the strength of her power, resulting in the accidental explosion of a building and a multitude of injuries and deaths. Not only did this incident act as the catalyst towards the Sokovia Accords and the main events of Civil War, but it also caused Wanda to cast a lot of doubt in herself and her capabilities. Knowing most of her actions often lead to destruction (her temporary alliance with Ultron aided the eventual fall of Sokovia), she holds a lot of fear for herself, this feeling strengthened by everyone else's additional fear of her.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOUR CHARACTER?:
When she lost Pietro, Wanda had temporarily lost all will to push forward and to even live. But the push of her teammates and friends often act as an encouragement that keeps her climbing back on her feet, a pep talk from Steve and Clint usually enough to get her back to her senses (Clint is especially talented at this, highlighting the excuse of her youth and comparing her to a "high schooler" to really push that grow up message). When Wanda's at her strongest, it's in trying to protect others and in trying to prove to herself that she's capable of much more than the frail young girl she fears herself to be.

WHAT IMPRESSION DO OTHERS TEND TO HAVE OF YOUR CHARACTER?:
For the longest time, Wanda was simply that witch. By the Avengers, she'd been seen as a heartless youth only bent on causing mischief and trickery. Despite their change from this image, the pubic (and some of her teammates) still hold this belief towards her. Because of the grand limitless power of her abilities, and her lack of control over them, most tend to view Wanda as a danger to others, a bomb set to go off at just about any given moment. Some, most notably Tony, see her as a child who needs to be kept in constant watch and surveillance, kept locked up for her own safety and that of others.

IN WHAT WAYS DOES THAT IMPRESSION DIFFER FROM WHO YOUR CHARACTER REALLY IS?:
Though it isn't a lie that Wanda still doesn't fully grasp her powers, most misunderstand both her capabilities and intentions. Considering her age, Wanda's understanding and control of her abilities have grown immensely in the short years since she's obtained them, especially lacking any proper mentor that would actually relate to having any similar abilities. And though she'd temporarily joined Ultron from having a negative image of Tony Stark and the Avengers, Wanda's intentions were always that of wanting the best for the world and the people of her country. Upon learning that Ultron intended to kill everyone in the world, she and Pietro instantly switched sides. Even with the accident in Lagos where people had seen her as reckless, Wanda had only acted in a desperate attempt to save a cluster of people from the bomb, falling into a quivering distraught state when she failed to do what she'd sworn to do: save lives.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE CRISIS OR ADVERSITY?:
Wanda can sometimes become quite overwhelmed in a moment of crisis. When Sokovia was in danger of destruction and Ultron's forces were coming in strong, she broke into a panic, blaming herself for incident. Her frightened state required a speech from Clint to push her out of it. However, with just a few words, Wanda is capable of doing a complete reversal, putting on a brave face and confronting conflict with higher composure and resolve. Over time, she becomes more capable of handling dire situations. In a fight against her previous teammates, she saves Clint from an attack from Natasha, tossing the latter with little hesitation before lecturing her mentor on his own hesitance, a full turn around from when he had to provide the motivational commentary.

WHICH 5 THINGS WILL YOUR CHARACTER REMEMBER UPON ARRIVAL, AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THEM?:

01. She is aware of her magic, though not of how she obtained it. Her powers are what have instilled a certain level of fear within her.
02. She is a danger to society and needs to be kept imprisoned for it. At her canonpoint, she had been detained and locked up, though she won't remember the details of the arrest.
03. She has allies in Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, Scott Lang, and Bucky Barnes. She needs to know there are some of those she can trust.
04. She was betrayed by Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Vision. Some betrayals are hard to forget (though she won't remember how it was done).
05. She's a fairly good cook with foreign recipes. Come on, someone needs to be.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU FEEL WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?:
At Wanda's canon point, she has been imprisoned in an underwater facility where she's been put in a straitjacket with a unique device around her neck to nullify the use of her powers. Though there is not yet any canon portraying Wanda after this event, it will be headcanoned that the device formed a faint bruised circle around her neck that is taking far too long to heal. Due to the loss of her memories, Wanda won't immediately remember the cause of this mark.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, & PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES:
Wanda was born a regular human, but she and her brother were eventually recruited by a Hydra scientist named List, who promised a way to help them get stronger to fight against war and riots in Sokovia. The experiments conducted had killed every previous volunteer, but succeeded in awakening different abilities within both Wanda and Pietro.
TELEKINESIS: Wanda can mentally move and manipulate objects, doing so with her thoughts and careful movement of her hands. With this, she can also control molecules, pushing them together or apart, which in turn allows her to manipulate shapes or destroy them. In addition making objects float, she is also able to make herself and others levitate. ( visual samples: 1, 2, 3, 4 )

TELEPATHY: Wanda can mentally read the thoughts and memories of others. In doing this, she can sense their emotions and feelings as well, using this to her advantage to plan strategy, such as when she sensed Tony Stark's fear of strong future intergalactic invasions, easily predicting his use of Loki's scepter for his own means. The power of the emotions can also have a physical effect on Wanda, as she felt a stinging pain in her head, upon sensing Ultron's desire of a destructed world. There is no known limited range for this power though it can extend far, as she was able to sense her brother's death even when they were in opposite sides of the city. (visual samples: 1, 2 )

MENTAL MANIPULATION: Wanda is able to form illusions and warp visual realities to put others in a hypnotic state. She can force them to see dreamlike visions that are often times a distorted product of their memories and emotions. Wanda was able to perform this on almost all of the Avengers, even Bruce Banner, forcing him to go into an uncontrolled rampage as the Hulk. She is also capable of mind control, using this ability to convince the people of Sokovia to evacuate the city. ( visual samples: 1, 2, 3 )

PSIONIC ENERGY: Wanda's most offensive approach in battles is the ability to create physical waves and bolts of energy in the form of red flickers of light that have destructive and forceful capabilities. She has used this to push away enemies and cause explosions, the latter of which has been capable of destroying vibranium-armored robots. When her emotions are most heightened, such as when she was grieving the death of her brother, the destructive power of her blasts can become even stronger. She can also use this ability to create defensive force fields. ( visual samples: 1, 2, 3, 4 )
